This one-day course explores the accounting cycle and the processes required to enter invoices and receive payments from customers. This course shows how to perform additional functions such as credit memos, prepayments, small balance write off, print customer statements, reverse and void payments, and month-end closing. Also included in the course are: setting terms for calculating document discount dates and due dates, using balance forward and open-item statements, and applying any mix of the comprehensive service and finance charges available.
The one-day Bank Reconciliation course explores the accounting cycle and the processes required to manage cash receipts, cash disbursements, and other transactions that affect checkbook balances. This course shows you how to perform the reconciliation process, ensuring accuracy of your financial data and its relation to your financial institution.
This custom-developed one day class will cover best practices gathered from our experience working with our hundreds of Dynamics GP clients. We will solicit the participants’ desired areas of focus and share best practices based on those interests. Tips and tricks will be shared in navigating the system, using smartlists, and selecting optimal settings. We will also cover posting accounts and fiscal periods, the general ledger, and using checkbooks. Concepts will be reinforced through live exercises in the software.
The one-day Fixed Assets course delves into the accounting cycle and the processes required to enter, depreciate, and retire fixed assets. This course shows how to perform additional functions such as changing asset information, mass changes, partial transfers, partial retirements, and retirement undo.
FRx (2 days)
This training covers the basic report design skills you need to create, maintain, and distribute presentation quality reports using Microsoft FRx. It also includes coverage of additional functionality designed to help you create new reports, and distribute and analyze your company's financial information. You learn about basic foundational skills, complex calculations, drag-and-drop reorganization, rounding adjustments, and account sets.
This one-day General Ledger course explores the accounting cycle and the processes required to enter financial data into the system. This training material also shows how to perform additional functions such as account reconciliation, budgeting, allocation, period-end and year-end closing procedures.
Dynamics GP System Administration is a custom course designed to address the needs of persons who support the ongoing technical operation of the application. The course goes over many topics including: client installs, client requirements, terminals services requirements, information needed before installing Dynamics GP, installing the Dynamics GP client, installation components and files, creating an ODBC Connector. Other course topics will include SQL backups and maintenance plans, refreshing test company data, disaster recovery and business continuity options, keeping your data house in order, such as file maintenance procedures and reconciling, and lastly the power of “sa.”

The Inventory Control course explores all aspects of the Inventory module from the initial setup of inventory items and the multiple methods of valuation supported, to the types of inventory transactions available and the tight integration to the Purchase Order Processing and Sales Order Processing modules.

SmartList Builder is a Microsoft Dynamics GP add-on that allows you to create your own SmartLists. This course discusses some of the options available to create and define your own SmartLists using SmartList Builder. It will also cover adding restrictions to SmartLists, creating calculated fields and Go To’s, and field formatting options that are available when you use SmartList Builder. Security options and import/export capabilities will also be discussed in this course.
