Q. Tell us about one of your favorite clients and why you enjoy working with them.
One of my favorites is someone about my age that I've known for a long time. He's an intelligent businessman, runs a family-owned business that's quite successful, loves to laugh, and is genuinely fun to be around.
Q. What's it like working for a company that's been around for so long?
It's great knowing that we've been around for 50 years. But because the firm has reshaped itself so much over the past 20 years, it's actually like working for a much younger company.
Q. What's your proudest achievement?
The birth of my first child. But it's also a proud moment when your team wins a Diocese (regional) championship.
Q. What nugget of wisdom would you offer aspiring accountants?
Work hard, but try to have fun. Maintain an even pace, and don't let it all stress you out. When you start out in any business, you're going to make some mistakes. Learn from them and move on.
