Q. Without naming names, tell us about your favorite client and why you enjoyed working with them.
It’s a company in Sunnyvale that does peer-to-peer lending. We recently helped them get through their initial filing on form S-1 with the SEC. It required long hours and hard work, but working with really smart people who have vision made it a lot of fun.
Q. What’s it like working for a company that’s been around for so long?
I appreciate that it’s stable, has a lot of good traditions, and we don’t have to build a new culture every year.
Q. If you could go back in time and change some aspect of your life, what would it be?
To have exercised more and found more time to relax with friends and family.
Q. Who is (or was) the most influential person in your business?
A partner and current best friend whom I worked with during my tenure at Deloitte and Touche. He’s the smartest person I know and continuously sets the bar very high.
Q. Who is (or was) the most influential person in your life?
My dad. He’s a self-made success who started with virtually nothing and has proven that hard work and a positive attitude can put you in a position to capitalize on opportunities when they present themselves.
