In today’s world, things have become more competitive than ever. As you progress through your college career, you are undoubtedly looking forward to what lies beyond graduation. Like your peers, you are driven and dedicated to achieving all the goals you’ve set for yourself. As you strive for the next step, how will you show off your talents? How will you show you are the all-star amongst your peers? How will you stand out from the crowd to prove that you are…different?
Every year Chris Seely, one of our Supervising Seniors in our Tax Department, organizes a firm-wide Adopt-A-Family program where we all donate money and gifts to families in need. This is a great effort from Chris, those who helped her and all of those who participated. Below is a letter to the firm from Chris outlining the impact our firm was able to make on these families this season. Collectively, the firm did a great job and we are proud of what we were able to accomplish by coming together.
Happy Holidays,
Andy

Many THANKS to all of AM who participated and contributed to make our 2009 AMLLP Adopt-A-Family program a TREMENDOUS SUCCESS!! You are all truly AWESOME & VERY GIVING!! We out-did ourselves this year to help make a wonderful holiday for the 36 members of the 9 families we “adopted”. Over one third of the firm participated in what is now our 9th Annual holiday sharing effort!! Congrats to all for a job well-done!
With your generous support, last Friday we delivered to the Salvation Army Concord Community Church over 40 boxes & bags chock full of Christmas gifts wishes along with a total of $3050 of Safeway grocery gift cards – each family received up to $500 in Grocery Gift Cards (depending on family size). A truly great accomplishment!!! Your generosity and caring are so much appreciated at this busy time of year and in these tough economic times. THANK YOU ALL!!
THE FIRM MADE A DIFFERENCE IN THE LIVES OF 36 SPECIAL INDIVIDUALS THIS HOLIDAY SEASON!!! For that, we are all thankful! And you know there will be many SMILING FACES and LOTS OF LAUGHTER, along with FULL TUMMIES, in the homes of all our special families on Christmas Day!! This week, our trusty AMLLP blog-cam caught up with Audit Manager, Jim Johnson, who shares his thoughts on opportunities at Armanino McKenna compared to other firms, “Here with the growth and development, there is room for everyone to move up…”
Every year AM hosts an internal event where the entire firm participates in a single initiative from cross selling to recruiting to giving back to the community. Watch the Mission Possible video that kicked off the cross selling and lead generation event starring our Managing Partner, Andy Armanino as the Tom Cruise character. AM offers free sodas, waters and snacks throughout the year for its employees. Watch this video poking fun at all of the different opinions of what snacks should be served at the firm.
A few weeks back, the infamous AMLLP blog-cam caught up with Dana near the conference room. When asked what she might have to say to potential employees about some advantages of working at Armanino McKenna, Dana replied:
“The culture is fun, the people are fun, so the environment as a whole makes you want to come to work every day.”
Just outside the neighborhood deli, Kevin Turco explains for the AMLLP blog-cam about the kind of rotational internships that make Armanino McKenna a great place to learn.
“…you can really get an experience for multiple parts of that public accounting world.”
